The Litigation Privilege For The Recording Of A Mechanic’s Lien Is An Absolute Privilege Check out this good short article by Michael Kerbs on the CLA website.  A warning about suing for tort damages for an invalid mechanic’s lien.  Even though the lien was invalid, the subcontractor was awarded attorney’s fees.
